I really don’t want to Like this because OHGODPOORYOU but at the same time it’s phrased really well and makes me smile but aaah inner conflict!
Sentiments received =P Thanks duck
Sooo apparently if you have a straightening-iron burn on your ear and you pick at the healed bit, it starts bleeding profusely.
Good to know.

Ouch?
I think I actually burned my thigh with my dinner plate. It was sitting on my lap, and it was fine at first, then mildly uncomfortable. I thought “Okay I’ll just finish this one thing on the computer and then I’ll move it.” and then it suddenly got REALLY PAINFUL and now it still hurts a bit.
So. Awkward accomplishment of the day.
My sister came to visit me in Hamilton this weekend, for the first time. She showed up late Friday night and we talked about her trip to Montreal (which is where she’d spent the previous few days) before going to bed. Then yesterday morning we woke up around 10 and had breakfast. She wanted to see where I go running, so we did the Dundurn and Chedoke stairs, then showered and did a quick...
That awkward moment where you find yourself wondering “If Katniss were a Neopet, what Neopet would she be?”
EDIT: And the obvious answer is a blue Pteri, because nothing else is even remotely similar to a Mockingjay.
… but I don’t want a Pteri…

You suck <3 *hugs anyway*
What the hell! I ran 8km, climbed 600 stairs, and ate healthy-stuff yesterday, and I GAINED weight???
Trying to teach myself a bit of ASL, starting with numbers (0-20)
Most of them are easy enough to remember. 11 and 14 keep throwing me off though. 12, 13 and 15 shift from fingers-up to closed fist, whereas 11 and 14 go from closed fist to fingers-up. I keep getting them wrong.
Lay down for a half hour nap
Wake up two and a half hours later
Oops <3
Random conclusion of the day:
If I were to go blind, I’d almost certainly marry a poet.
Might marry one anyway, if I’m lucky, but I think being blind would make it an actual priority.

GROUND BEEF, I GUESS haahahha oh Karen
Well, I don’t figure I’ll get sick of it as quickly as other foods =P
Also, I like that THAT’S the one you comment on XD
Eh, what the hell. I’ll just answer em all.
1) What are your three favourite movies? Serenity… uhmm… Mulan… aaaand The Holiday.
2) Do you like drugs? Favourites? Most definitely not. Never tried ‘em, never going to.
3) Name a sexual fantasy you have I don’t have anything I’d really call a fantasy… I’ve a mild interest/curiosity in the idea...
That awkward moment when you realize - after tasting it - that the pizza sauce you bought is of the spicy variety which you did not expect.

Okay I really need to go to bed.

No seriously, I should go to bed now.

I have already turned off the light and my laptop is starting to hurt my eyes - I need to go to bed.

Dangit!
Good grief, my roommate is adorable.
So I guess there’s some sort of big holiday-type thing today? Something involving a lot of red and white?
*shrugs*

Tried something new this morning - Took four slices (flat and round) of Gala apple, put them in the frying pan, cracked an egg on top. Flipped, sprinkled with brown sugar.
Result: Delicious!

I’m sorry! But I have to talk about this SOMEWHERE and I can’t babble to you about it and I thought you were still mostly-on-hiatus so you might miss it.
Besides, there’s nothing specifically spoiler-y about it. Just identifying a subtle undertone of a...

… dangit, I just know he’s going to wind up dead by the end of this. He’s going to die and I’m going to wind up crying on account of a book. I’d bet on it if I ever gambled.

I finished writing my first (and possibly only) draft of Ball Of Yarn today.
It is not long - Less than 5500 words in total, not including the Author’s Note, which is half a page in itself. It is also not exactly a masterpiece. In fact, I am quite certain that some parts of it are just downright bad. But I wasn’t going to let myself edit the thing to death or make it any more...
Aaaand suddenly I go hurtling from the seemingly-unending plains of hunger into the dark chasm of tummyache >_<
I am well on my way to eating half a jar of peanut butter, straight, in a single day.
I’m not even sad or anything, I am just PERPETUALLY HUNGRY and LOVE PEANUT BUTTER
Made the mistake brilliant decision of actually stopping at the Campus Disks table in the student center today. Decided that if they had a Daughtry CD, and if that CD contained ‘Feels Like Tonight’, I’d buy it.
And they did. <3 I now have this man’s delicious voice at my fingertips.

Also, I don’t know if this is strange, but I hate dust covers. Any time I’m reading a book with a dust cover, it’ll maybe stay on for the first chapter, while it still makes a convenient bookmark. But I get very tired of it sliding in my hands very quickly, and it usually winds up in a drawer somewhere.
Not only do I get tired of it sliding, but I just like how hardcovers look...

Pick up Catching Fire, debating reading a chapter before starting in on chores.
Read the back.
See that John Green reviewed it in the New York Times Book Review.
AWESOME.

Your forehead looks fine, silly. this is cute! WOW you hair is so long!
That’s because the light from the window is washing it out =P Anyway, it’s a moot point - As soon as I started moving around more, the earlier strands started falling out. They’re too short to be held in properly.

Well, yeah, I’ll probably still read it. But not as energetically.

Sorry Homestuck, no room for you in my fandom-space anymore. Too much Hunger Games goin’ on in there.
Wanted to play a little Call To Power II before bed. Realized I’d uninstalled it from my big laptop. Started re-installing.
Oh right. It loads to 93.1% and then stops doing anything clearly useful. Forgot about that.
One more reason why you should always choose books over video games.
(Hunger Games, here I come!)
Midterm freakin’ ROOOOOOOCKED
(I think I hope oh gosh please let it be as good as I thought)
And now I have to sit through an hour and a half of lecture. Bleh.

Okay. Freaking out less now.
My Plan A is in serious jeopardy, yes. This is especially scary because, up until about a year ago, I hadn’t even considered the necessity of a plan B. Now it’s looking like a plan C is a good idea, if I can even think of one.
BUT…
This is not the end of the world. No matter what, I will still walk across that stage within a year, and receive a...
